Ozark Cabin Candles was created when I was frustrated with the lack of fragrance and burn quality of department store candles. “If I can’t smell it, I won’t sell it!” I was quoted as saying.
It became the theme of which I dedicated myself to produce a quality candle. With that mission in mind, I began mixing and pouring using quality wax with thoroughly mixed fragrance in a decorative antique container.
In order to convey an Ozark’s Cabin experience, the label needed to be homey yet unique. My Father-in-law, a local artist and Ozarks native, supplied artwork of my Great, Great, Great Grandpas cabin which was built in 1849 in Partridge, Kentucky. The cabin still stands and is still in the family. He went by the name of "Panther Jim" .
